Gaming is for me a way to escape, it’s a way to go into a different world, a different reality, and to become someone else, where the cares of their world aren’t the same ones in yours. I love being able to escape.

My life changed when my dad surprised me with a Playstation 2. That Christmas I had spent most of the time watching him play one of his games. I wanted to have the fun of playing a video game myself. Now I was able to play one! Granted it was Finding Nemo, but I was young, and I was ecstatic.

That started me on my gamer girl life. I played games with my dad like MX Unleashed, ATV Offroad Fury, and Medal of Honor. I loved playing those games, and I have a lot of memories with them.

My dad had bought Socom: Navy Seals. I had watched him play it, but I didn’t think that it was going to be for me, until I actually tried it. I loved it, I loved First-Person Shooters (FPS), and would often play it. I was always doing miss…
